Hike to the peak of the Rock of Gibraltar My painting “January 6th, 2021” is included in “This is America”, curated by @maritzamelania at @pamm Ten paintings that explore the inverse of the Transatlantic narrative. Portraits of Europeans consumed by mangroves that allude to the serpents of Laocoön. Photos by @fcasale2018 A selection of In Situ drawings made in England, Northern Ireland, Ireland, & Wales Drawing the Giant’s Causeway St. Gwyndaf’s Church in Llanwnda, Wales has 7th century Celtic stones incorporated into the walls of the structure, including this relief sculpture of a face. One must hike through a field of horses to reach the church. Following a dynamic photography session with Clara Toro and FIU Honors students, we are thrilled to unveil select portraits joining the growing Freedom Tower Archive. To honor the Freedom Tower’s centennial, MOAD launched this archive collecting oral histories from Miami residents connected to its legacy, reflecting on views of hope, freedom, and opportunity. Walking between land, sea, & sky on the Phoenician Steps of the Isola di Capri Two views of the @hagiasophia_grandmosque in Istanbul with our friend @senakabukcu
