MADRID
The group lodges in Madrid for approximately ten days at Eric Vökel Atocha Suites. The class visits four institutions: Museo de las Americas, El Prado, Reina Sofia, and Palacio Real. Professor Bailly leads three walking lectures: Retiro, Centro Historico, and El Rastro. As the capital, Madrid is home to the best museums in Spain. Madrid is also the most populous city in Spain, with an incredibly active culinary and street life.

SEVILLA
The group lodges in Sevilla for approximately four days at Living-Sevilla. The class visits three institutions: Cathedral of Sevilla, the Royal Alcazar, and Archivos de las Americas. The class also completes two historic walking tours.

BARCELONA
In Barcelona, the group lodges for approximately seven days at Eric Vökel Gran Vía Suites. Barcelona is the city in Spain that most resembles Miami. It is on the sea and displays a strong regional identity. The class visits the Sagrada Familia, Palau de la Musica, and the Park Guell. The class completes two historic walking tours and is in Barcelona when Nit de San Joan Festival occurs.

TOLEDO
The group takes a day trip by train to Toledo. The group is led on a walking tour by a professional tour guide from Toledo. The class visits the Catedral Primada, Santa Maria la Blanca, and the Iglesia de Santo Tomé to see a El Greco masterpiece. The class completes a hike to an overlook of Toledo.

SEGOVIA
The group takes a day trip by train to Segovia. The group is led on a walking tour by a professional tour guide from Segovia. The class visits la Catedral and the Alcázar. The class completes a hike to an overlook of Segovia.

EL ESCORIAL
The group takes a day trip by train to El Escorial. The class visits the Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo. The class completes an arduous hike into the mountains above El Escorial.

CÓRDOBA
The group takes a day trip by train to Córdoba en route from Madrid to Sevilla. The group is led on a walking tour by a professional tour guide from Córdoba. The class visits the Mezquita-Catedral. The class continues by bus to Sevilla.

GRANADA
The group takes a day trip by public bus to Granada. The class visits the Alhambra complex. The class walks from Alhambra to Albayzin.

SITGES
The group takes a day trip by train to Sitges. The class visits the Museus de Sitges. The class ends the day with free time on the beach.

MONTSERRAT
The group takes a day trip by train to Montserrat. The class visits the Black Virgin. The class then hikes to mountains carved by angels.
