Art in Miami FIU Honors College students have assisted artists on a variety of artistic projects. The following are highlights from collaborations with different institutions. The FIU Honors College wishes in particular to thank Omar Lopez-Chahoud, Artistic Director of UNTITLED Art Fair, for his vision and support. This seminar is taught by Artist and Professor John William Bailly (MFA, Yale University) who has spent a decade leading students on experiential learning programs.

JEN CLAY’S “EYES OF THE SKIN” AT LOCUST PROJECTS IN 2023

The Art in Miami students of the FIU Honors College will participate at the runners in Jen Clay’s “The Chase.” Inspired by Scooby doo monster chase scenes, The Chase is a performance where a group of people is slowly chased by two ambiguous forms with a live soundscape by Elise Anderson to represent being constantly chased by the alien inside that, to Jen Clay, is anxiety, depression, and mental illness. Runner groups will be sought out to participate in this “fun run” that will encircle the street outside of Locust Projects. Read More.
